Glass for all of Europe: New logistics hall for Univerre AG

Whether bottles, jars or glass packaging: Univerre AG in Sierre develops, produces and distributes glass products of all kinds for business customers throughout Europe. In 2021, the Volken Group worked with partner companies to construct a new 2100 m2 logistics building with three floors. The excavation of 3000 m3 was carried out by a 30 t excavator. The in-situ concrete from Volken Beton and the prefabricated concrete elements such as ceiling slabs and stairs from MC Prefabbricati had to be installed precisely. In addition to scaffolding from Volken Gerüstbau, a mobile truck-mounted crane and a tower crane were also used for this. XL Betonage poured the concrete slabs and Spahiu laid the iron reinforcement. All in all, a complex project with elaborate logistics, which was also a challenge in terms of occupational safety with ceilings and wall heights of up to 9 m.
