Litterna Site Development Project

The people of Upper Valais have many fond memories of the Litternahalle. From 1979 to 2019, it served as the home arena for the EHC Visp. In 2020, the Volken Group demolished the arena. Construction work on the 15,700 m² site began earlier this year. Excavation work is currently being completed, and initial work on the foundations is underway. Challenges include construction in an area with high groundwater levels, municipal traffic management requirements, and the proximity to the SBB rail line. The residential development comprises four buildings: Building A will have 10 stories, while Buildings B, C, and D will each have 5 or 6 stories. The project will feature 128 rental apartments and 3 commercial units. We would like to thank the developer, Swiss Prime Site, and the general contractor, Eiffage Suisse, for the trust they have placed in us, and we are delighted to be part of this project, which will eventually shape the center of Visp.
