Project description:
In September 2024, extensive repair work had to be carried out on the Almagelleralp following the storm in July of the same year. The 12-ton walking excavator was dismantled and then flown up in parts by helicopter. All inventory and materials also had to be transported to the construction site by helicopter. Work was interrupted in December 2024 and only resumed in June 2025.
